Neon
The Neon exhibition invites viewers into an immersive exploration of consciousness, where the interplay of light and energy becomes a metaphor for the mysteries of the human soul. At Gallery Catch 22 in Belgrade, Delevic bridges the gap between the seen and unseen, unravelling the eternal question of how the physical and spiritual dimensions of existence intersect.
Through a blend of digital art, printmaking, photography, and moving images, Delevic crafts an experience where light becomes the language of self-awareness. His innovative use of neon-like lightboxes reflects not just the brilliance of cosmic light but its ability to awaken the dimly lit chambers of our inner worlds. Each piece resonates with the duality of energy—both the tangible electric glow and the intangible currents of thought, emotion, and spirit.
Neon, as a chemical element, becomes a profound symbol in this body of work. Naturally inert, it requires activation to emit its radiant glow. This mirrors the human condition: dormant potential brought to life through reflection, connection, and creativity. Delevic’s art suggests that just as neon transforms energy into illumination, so too can individuals ignite their consciousness to light up the darkest corners of their being.
In Neon, the artist challenges us to see ourselves as part of a greater cosmic flow, where the circulation of energy within mirrors the universal dance of stars and light. By inviting audiences into this luminous dialogue, Delevic doesn’t just present art—he creates an experience that transforms perception. This exhibition is not merely a showcase but a call to action: to explore, to connect, and to awaken the brilliance that resides within.
